Scanning files for viruses

You can enable a security option in your preferences so that all incoming and outgoing files in Groove are scanned to protect against viruses.

Groove's virus scanning feature is supported if you're running Norton AntiVirus Personal Edition 2002 or higher. Other anti-virus software applications may also support this feature, but have not yet been tested.

Note: The virus scanning feature is not supported if you're running Norton AV Corporate Edition or Sophos Anti-Virus.

Select Options - Preferences and select the Options tab.
Check "Scan incoming and outgoing files for viruses".
